Cops Suspect Me of Flashing Girls

HI .,

i know my answer is not relevant to the thread posted above .,

but rather than answer i have question

i have been stopped by cop in state of california and have been question about my name .where i work and where i go school to.
i am a International Student here .

they said me the reason for them asking me questions is that .. they have received a complaint that a guy looks exactly like me .. trying to expose himself to school girls

they asked me question of what i have been standing doing their ?
i said them that i am passing by to my home ..

but they did not believe it .. and started asking me more questions

and they took my photograph ,,, my id and my address information

and they also gave me a ride to my home and asked some regularly inquiry questions with my room mates about me ..

and they left saying nothing but they were typing something on their computer ..

its been 4 days now .....

and iam worried .. whats gonna happen next

please start your own thread. It is rude to "hijack" another's thread and it leads to all sorts of confusion.

I doubt any more is going to come of it. No one can predict what might happen next ... probably nothing.

The officer was likely typing the disposition of his contact into the computer, or keying that he was clear for calls.

but i wonder why that cops took my photograph and had my ID .... and why do they have to come till my apartment ?

and he asked me did u exposed ur self ???? i said NO ..

there is no way to know what is going to happen. If you are the person that did the flashing, I suspect you will be arrested. If you look a lot like the guy that was flashing, I suspect you might be arrested and will have to defend yourself. If you do not look like the guy that was flashing, you probably won't here from the police again concerning this issue.

Since the took pictures of you, I would think they are going to show them to the victim and ask them if it was you. If they ID you, expect a visit from the police but this time you will get to go for a ride with them.

Even if you are innocent, you are best off shutting up after you have identified yourself.

You don't know what they did & the police don't have to tell you the truth. I would not put anything in writing unless your attorney tells you to (then it may become privileged). Now if they ask you ? again, and they could be the same ? as before, and you answer differently then you will open yourself up to a heap of possible trouble.

You may wish to seek out a lawyer and have him on retainer just in case (make sure its a refundable retained if the police interest in you dies).

just out of curieousity

how this going to work?

will they have to tally pictures with the ONe who called them and complained ? or would it going to be with random people

and do the caller or one who complaint .... have to legally file the case or NOt?
