How to Get a DNA Test After Birth

My question involves paternity law for the State of: MD

yup. i'm pregnant. i know whose child it is but since my fiancee (husband coming soon in May) has an interesting past, he wants to make SURE it is his child b4 he signs AOP.

1) does the hospital offer dna test or do i ask for it right after birth?
2) how long do the results take? i dont want to delay my release or signing of aop or bc.
3) is it free? i dont think it is but it may be cheap?

If you don't ask for DNA testing, the hospital is not going to offer it.
