My question involves a child custody case from the State of: california
What are the laws about 24 yr old dating a 16 yr old (no intercourse) :confused:and if biological mother allows this on her custodial time is this child endangerment? Is there anything we can do?
There's nothing illegal about a 16 year old dating a 24 year old.
Even if there were, you couldn't do anything about. It would be up to Dad.
This does not come close to child endangerment.
I understand that DAD must do something I am asking because I am worried. I have been helping to raise her for 10 yrs I realize I have no rights but I love her and am worried. Is there anything that can be done?

Again, there's no law preventing the 16 year old from dating a 24 year old when there is no sexual contact. Had Dad tried expressing his concerns to Mom?
Has he had "the talk" with his daughter?
Yes he has tried to talk with her and find out what is going on she just wont say anything at all. Also he found out she ditched school to go hang out with him and mother helped her

Well, he can keep his fingers crossed that his daughter keeps her legs crossed.
(I'm truly not being snarky - it's just that there is, again, no law against them dating as long as there is no sexual contact)
We both know that a 24 year old man sniffing around a 16 year old is likely up to no good, but unless Dad can prove that there's something going on or that his daughter is actually in danger, there's really nothing he can do.

Since there's nothing illegal in what he's doing, it's doubtful that there's anything his employer would do.
We might think it's immoral, but it's still not illegal.
If someone were to call his employer and he got fired as a result, you can pretty much guarantee that he and kiddo will put 2 and 2 together and get the correct result - and that's likely only going to encourage them to keep doing what they're doing.
