Im not sure if im on the right forum but I live in Houston Texas I am 16 and i am dating a 20 year old guy. he is very respectful and we are not planning to have any sexual intercourse based upon our belief that, that should be saved untill after marrige. what i want to know is that if he can get in truble for dating me even tho we are not having sex and my parents have full consent of our situation. Thankyou for your time
Dating is not illegal in any state.
However, inappropriate contact can land your boyfriend in serious trouble.
A nice rule of thumb is that you don't do anything physical that you wouldn't do with you grandmother. Hold hands, hug, kiss on the cheek - fine. Anything else can be questionable.
Please stick around the forums and read though. Generally, 20 year old men don't hang around 16 year old girls unless they're after something.
