    Divorce from a Non-U.S. Citizen
My question involves a marriage in the state of: Texas
I want to get a divorce from a man I married over 5 years ago, we have 2 children together, and one that is not his. He has threatened to take all 3 of them to the U.K. If I go on night shift at my job, because he says it will disrupt the family. I need to know what I can do about this. He is a non-u.s citizen, that came to the states on a 6 month work visa 6 years ago this month. We were married in Texas. I am american and so are all 3 of my girls. What do I do? who do I contact?

    Thank you

Was the third child born during your marriage?

Is he a permanent resident? If so, did you sponsor the residency?

You should start a divorce case if for no other reason to get a temporary order prohibiting him from removing the children from the Texas. You should also ask the court to allow you to keep the children's passports (US and UK) if they exist. Obviously this is complicated legal matter, you really should start working with a lawyer in Texas.
