    No Trespassing Agreement with Robinson-May
    Hi All,

I was stopped by LP from Robinsons-May in Nov. of 2005. Never received a civil demand from them though they said I should. There were no fines, no cops, no nothin, but they did take my picture. I agreed to not go to the store for 2 years. But now, Robinsons-May is Macy's. Does it still apply? I never received the letter and now that Robinsons-May is Macy's, what restrictions still apply. Any input would be helpful. Thanks.

That will depend upon Macy's corporate policies. It could also depend upon the exact language of your agreement. Contact their loss prevention office and ask.

The company name may have changed but the trespass still holds. They didn't toss out the reports when it was bought out so everything is in place, I wouldn't go back. With the change over the civil demand may take longer to catch up to you, but you'll probably still get it.

I will probably call and check with them. I mean, its been 9 months and still no civil demand as well. I also recently moved, but I put in an address forwarding with the post office, which is good for a year, so I guess if I don't receive it within another year, I definitely won't receive it at all. I'm not too worried though, because the LP guy told me there wasn't a fine or anything of that nature. The requirements were that I couldn't shop in the store alone for two years, but it would be okay for me to go in the store if I was with someone, which I didn't do anyways. Thanks for the input.

It's possible that things fell through the cracks, perhaps as a result of the Macy's takeover.
