Second Offense Marijuana Possession

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Georgia

I was arrested in February for possession, it was a misdemeanor since I only had a small amount on me. The charges were dropped because of questionable circumstances under which I was arrested, but my license was revoked for 180 days.

During this 180 day time period, I was arrested for driving without a suspended license.

Then, in August, I was arrested again for possession & paraphernalia a second time. I got a letter in the mail saying something about my arraignment date is coming up...so what can I expect? Am I facing jail time since the charges in February were dropped, and does this most recent time 'count' as a second offense?

If the 1st charge was dismissed then it's only your 1st offense for weed,they can still use the other charge against you. I would think wit a lawyer probation can be worked out,a lawyer is the best person to ask.
