Re: Want to Be Emancapated
Your mother can file for custody.
If you're staying with your grandmother, she can also file for custody (Ohio does allow for third party custody in certain circumstances). However I suspect that if she filed anything, Dad would simply take you to where he's living.
And yes, you do what he says. You're the child, he's the parent.
Re: Want to Be Emancapated
would my dad have to sign over custody?
Re: Want to Be Emancapated
She could file herself. She will need an attorney, and she should expect a long and expensive battle.
If Dad objects, she'll have to prove that he's unfit.
Re: Want to Be Emancapated
hell simply change untill its all over and hes won then go bck thts what he did in the divorc
Re: Want to Be Emancapated
Sweety, this really isn't your legal problem.
You've got to get either Dad or grandma to sign up here so we can try to help them.
Re: Want to Be Emancapated

Re: Want to Be Emancapated
Yeah, that's not going to happen unless Dad agrees.
You've basically proven that you need more - not less - adult supervision.
