Can a No Trespassing Be Overturned
My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Michigan
I was terminated from Nordstrom for finding and using a $20 giftcard. There were no charges made against me at all. I was told that I was not allowed back in any store for 2 years. I now have the opportunity to work for a different company, that i will be a clothing line vendor. I will need to visit nordstrom stores every 12 weeks.
I am wondering if there is anyway to get permission or to have the trespassing voided.
Re: Can a No Trespassing Be Over Turned
That is entirely up to Nordstroms. Only they have the right to allow you on their property.
Re: Can a No Trespassing Be Over Turned
The way to get permission is to ask Nordstrom for the permission. They may or may not agree or even reply to you.
Re: Can a No Trespassing Be Over Turned
Thanks, thats what I was thinking. Do you think that I should ask the store I worked in or the corporate office? Loss Prevention or Human Resources?
Re: Can a No Trespassing Be Over Turned
I would speak to Human Resources or at least start there. Whether they agree to allow you back in their stores is entirely up to Nordstrom.
