    Annuity Income in Bankrutpcy
My question involves bankruptcy in the state of: Georgia.

Thank you all for your time. I am a 28 year single male with about 60k in debt from medical bills to cc to payday loans. I occurred most of my debt going back 8 years now. My mother r.i.p was in a car accident n was injured n recieved a settlement in annuity form starting in 2012. She unfortunately passed away in 2007 from a rare brain disease, which leaves me as benificary. I am suppose to recieve $269.32 a month for 5 years. This is the only asset I have. I'd like to go bankrupt but I'm sure the annuity will play a role. I need all the help I can get cause this stuff makes so depressed, I know I can't change the past but the stuff haunts me. Thank-you for your time.

Annuities appear to be exempt. You would do well to discuss your situation with a local bankruptcy attorney.

So how do you live if you only have $269 a month coming in? What is the rest of the story?
