Bright Lights in Daytime

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Texas
I was recently pulled over and told I was going to be given a ticket if the officer saw me driving again with my bright lights on. It was 10:15 in the morning on a sunny fall day. Though I was aware my lights were on, I was not aware the brights were on. Can you really get a ticket for bright lights in the daytime?

You can GET a ticket for anything the officer can think of writing you for. Whether you'd loose any challenge to such a ticket in court depends on whether the officer can successfully articulate the violation versus whether you can successfully argue that no violation occurred.

Note that it doesn't specify that the lights can't be used during daylight hours, but DOES provide circumstances, regardless of time, of when high beams may NOT be deployed.
