Cited for an MIP

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Maryland

Me and two of my friends were at a sporting event recently at one of the large schools in Maryland. We had some alcohol with us and were drinking during the game periodically. I guess the cops saw us drinking and pulled us out of the game. They asked to search our wallets for fake ids, my two friends let them but I did not comply. They tried to bully me into letting them search me but I did not agree. From there they let my two friends go (one who gave up his fake to the cops) and said that they were going to cite me. I did not have alcohol on me at the time when the police first contacted me, and there was no field sobriety test or breathalyzer test administered, yet I was still cited for possession.

What do you think my chances are of getting the charges dropped?

You say you are under the age of 21, and that you and your friends were caught by the police with alcohol. What additional evidence do you believe the prosecutor will need?

sorry I just re-read this and I was unclear. When I said they saw us drinking I didn't mean they directly saw that we were drinking, they just pulled us aside and asked if we had any alcohol on us, which we did not.
