How to Get My Ex to Pay Credit Card Bills She Ran Up
I let my ex-gf use my CC to purchase some appliances. I need some sort of document for her to sign so that she will repay the CC's.
    Any help?

You needed some sort of document before you let her purchase the items, to be honest.

Is she actually willing to sign some sort of repayment agreement?

    And where are you located?

I know... I "thought" we would be getting married and that I wouldnt need to worry about it. It was an "investment" in our future.

    Re: Credit Card
I think you mean you need something for her to sign to prove she agreed to pay the credit card bill.

Since this is an active credit card, the amount owed each month will change based on additional purchases and payments which are irrelevant to her debt. Why not simply have her sign a promissory note that spells out the amount owed, the interest rate charged, and when payments are due?

And bearing in mind that the credit card company will not be a party - if she stops paying or refuses to pay, you'll have to pay yourself OP if you want to preserve your credit.

(Though you could then sue her in small claims)

@jk It's not active anymore, so there cant be anymore added to it. She has been making monthly payments, but I'd really like her to pay it off now, but she wants to make monthly payments until she gets her tax refund in April since the CC has no interest until May '12.
@Dog I know and that is what I am scared of. That's why Im looking for some sort of contract for her to sign. Any ideas?

    Re: Credit Card
You can get her to sign a promissory note, as jk suggested. Unfortunately the note alone won't compel her to pay.

There are examples all over the 'net. Don't make it overly complicated, and get your signatures notarized. Notarizing won't make it legally binding (not in and of itself), but it will prove that the signatures are genuine.

Ok thanks. She made me sign an agreement when she lent me money to buy my truck. That was pretty cut and dry. I have given her a document but she things that I sould be able to find something like she did.

Good luck, OP - I do hope she repays as promised. Small claims is a pain in the derriere, and there's never any promise of collection.
