Chances of Getting Permission to Move With the Children
My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Louisiana

We are still going through a divorce but I live in Tennessee and he lives in Louisiana and he filed there. We have been separated and I have been living up here with the kids since June 2010. When we finally get our divorce I am getting married again to a man who is in the military and he is based in Colorado. Once we get married we would like to actually be able to live together lol so my question is if my husband tries to refuse to let me move, would I be able to get permission in court? It wouldn't affect his visitation because it would be the same whether I was living in Tennessee or Colorado but he is going to be the one paying for the cost of travel because we had an agreement he doesn't have to pay child support but just the cost of visitation traveling and expenses. But I think I should be able to get permission to move since it is to be with my husband. How could this work out? Thanks.

    Re: Issues on Relocation
It is highly likely that you will be able to move since you currently live in different states, especially if the current parenting plan will still be feasable. The only thing I can see that might change is that you may be required to pay some of the travel as you are moving further away and the costs may be higher.
