Late Notice of a Red Light Traffic Camera Ticket
My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: WA

    http://www.expertlaw.com/forums/show...wood+red+ilght

    Reference above thread.

The date of infraction: 6/24/ 2011
    Date of issuance:9/16/2011

Can I get this dismissed based on Lynnwood, WA Oridinance 11.18.020 Notice of infraction.

    A. Whenever any vehicle is photographed by an automated traffic safety camera, a notice of infraction shall be mailed to the registered owner of the vehicle within 14 days of the violation, or to the renter of a vehicle within 14 days of establishing the renter’s name and address.

I have a feeling they didn't have our correct address, but the car was purchased and registered in May--so that's ridiculous. It's been almost 90 days since the infraction. How can I find out when the Notice of Infraction was made and filed? Do they have 5 business days to file it from the date of infraction? Please tell me my best defense.

    thankyou

Looks like a good defense to me. I would use it.
