    My question involves guardianship in the State of: Missouri

    What are thier motives, My daughter will be 18 in 6 months.

    Why have you let your minor child leave home?

    Is she still in school?

    She ran away twice before and I went to get her, in Missouri, I can't keep her home once she reaches the age of 17. I don't approve of where she is, but at least I know where she is.

    Yes she is still in school.

    Yes you can go get her. YOU are the parent - not her.

    But aside from that, the reason why the other people want guardianship is likely because they need to have the legal authority to do certain things.

    You HAVE talked to them, yes? And asked them what's going on?
