Runaways: Can I Move Out at 17

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: North Carolina
I have recently turned 17, but I have wanted to move out since I was 13. I live with my mama and my parents are seperated. I do not wish to live with my daddy either. I wanted to know if there was any way possible for me to move in with a family relative. The relative is 40 years-old and is willing to take on the responsibility of raising me. Could I leave without my parents permission?
