Do I Need to File Separate Expuction Petitions for One Incident
My question involves criminal records for the state of: Texas
Do I need to file separate expuction petitions for one incident? This involved 2 drug charges when my house was raided. The clerk at the DAs office only found one incident number on one of the charges but I am thinking she is confused. One incident number linked to 2 charges(case numbers) is how I assume it works. I assume I only need one petition since it involves one arrest. The FBI background check revealed 2 charges. To be honest I already filed the petition and I have a court date. While working on this expunction order I began to question myself. Did I make a big mistake not filing separate petitions?

    thanks

We have no way of investigating the charges or their disposition, how many case numbers or court files were involved, or anything else about your situation. We can only go with what you tell us. So give us the procedural details about the cases, case numbers, consolidation or lack thereof, disposition, etc., or "wait and see what happens".

There were 2 case numbers but the DA clerk only found one incident number. "The listed offenses were declined for prosecution No charges were filed" These were the exact typed and signed words from the DAs office. I included a copy of that statement in the petition.
    thanks

"You say "arrest" and "arrests". If it's in fact "arrests", you probably have to file more than one petition for expungement"

It was one arrest but 2 charges so I will assume one of your previous answer to someone else's question will apply to my situation.
