Suing in a Different State for Alienation of Affection
My question involves alienation of affection law for the State of: Illinois vs. Wisconsin
Spouse wants to sue Illinois resident for alienation of affection. I met resident in Illinois in IL, and WI. Question: Can spouse sue Il resident for alienation of affection where the law is active when spouse and infidel are WI residents where the law is not applicable?
    Thank you.

I don't think "infidel" is actually the word you mean to use, diva. But, that aside, the short answer is "no". WI laws would apply.

True! Infidel is incorrect. Thanks for the direct answer.
