Being Sued by Asset Acceptance and Have No Idea Why
My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: Oklahoma

I have received a letter from an lawyer notifying me of their change of address. The top of the letter is written like a oklahoma county court doc. with a case# and both parties names including their lawyers, there is a second page that says certificate of mailing that is hand signed and dated stating that a true and correct copy was sent to my old adress I have no Idea what this is about. It does not look like there has been a court date set and I have not yet received a summons, If anyone can give me any info on this I would be very thankful. Here is a link to the court site http://www.oscn.net/applications/oscn/casesearch.asp be sure and select oklahoma county and the case# is CS-2011-4727. thanks

You could try contacting the lawyer and asking for a copy of the pleadings you did not receive, or getting copies from the court (the court can be expected to charge a copying fee, but you'll probably be able to get the documents right away).
