Burglary 3rd Degree, Burglary Possess Tools
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Arizona.
My son who is not a minor was put in jail last nite and i am new to this his first time in jail here and they dont care, plus he has a drug problem, what is the difference with the burglary charges? I called the jail and told them he will go into withdrawl if they dont help him:wallbang: by law they can let him die on the jail floor can they? He keeps saying they dont care i tell them and they dont care, and i am worried and stressed didnt sleep last night at all, I know what he did and he has to take care of it, we dont have money for a lawyer so he will sit there, which he should but i dont want him to go into withdrawl and die.. someone please explain the charges to me. Thank you

The jail certainly doesn't care and your son is an adult and they have no need to talk to you (and probably good reason not to). If he falls ill in jail, he will likely get medical treatment. What do you want to happen, let him out so he can take illegal drugs? That's not going to happen.

Unless this is an extremely rural jail, they have probably handled an in-custody detox or three. They know what to do and when to it. If your son, who is a big boy and needs to take his lumps, becomes too ill they will get him treatment. He is not the first, nor will he be the last, to detox in jail.
