When Can You End a Chapter 13 Plan Early
My question involves bankruptcy in the state of: Florida
I have made 30 of my 60 payments so far; however, over the past 30 months (here and there, not every month) I sent a little extra....so technically I made the equivalent of 36 payments with the extra money sent.....Does that mean my Chapter 13 can end early...like lets say in 54 months instead of 60???
Re: When Can You End a Chapter 13 Plan Early
It's not particularly unusual for people to pay off Chapter 13 plans early, once they're past the three year mark; before thirty-six months the trustee is apt to move for an upward modification of the plan. It's best to run the details past your bankruptcy lawyer for case-specific advice.
