No Contest or Not Guilty in Kansas for Dws
My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: Kansas
I was pulled over and arrested by a park ranger in kingman county kansas. I was released on a bond and scheduled for court, which i have today.
I live about 40 miles from the court house, so i wasnt able to get a lawyer because i couldnt find a ride to the county where my court appointed attrnys office is.
Basically i go to court today and I'm wanting to just get it over with, without a lawyer - would my best bet be to plead guilty or no contest? :wallbang:

In Kansas and just about every state other than Georgia, pleading no contest is about the same as pleading guilty. The judge will find you guilty.
I'm still confused, why is your court appointed lawyer not appearing? Why?
You do know you can go to jail on this charge. In addition your suspension will be extended, there will be fees to reinstate, and you'll need to pay for SR-22 insurance.
