Paraphernalia Citation

My question involves criminal law for the state of: North Carolina

me and my friends were parked in an empty parking lot and a cop pulled in because it looked suspicious to be in an empty parking lot during trespassing hours... long story short it ended up with 7 cop cars and a k-9 unit called in..... one of my friends got possession of marijuana and paraphernalia for a pipe and intent to use, my other friend didn't get charged with anything because he didn't have anything on him, and I got caught with a grinder and rolling paper and received citation saying: possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia. by the way I am 19 years old and have a clean record with no previous violations of any kind.

1. should I plea innocent or guilty?

2. should I try and get a plea bargain?

3. what should do if I'm unable to pay the fines?

4. Would I be able to request another punishment? such as community service instead of probation or jail time.

5. Is there anyway I can reduce the fees?

6. Is there anything I can do to for it to not appear on my record because I'm trying to join the marine corps.?

7. How bad can this turn out and how would it mostly likely turn out?

4. Assuming the court is inclined toward jail time, you are free to ask.

7. If you are convicted of a crime that carries fines and a potential jail term, the worst outcome is that you are sentenced to fines and jail. The most likely outcome will be probation and jail, probably some community service, possibly with a dismissal if you are eligible for diversion or deferral as a first time offender.
