Harassment: Violation Conviction in New York
approx. 1995/1996 I had an argument with a former roommate. It turned into a hair pulling/shoving match and to make a long story short, I was charged with and convicted of Harassment/a Violation. I'm now applying for a police job and must submit all court papers/etc. Problem is, I don't remember the exact court, just the County (Nassau County, NY). I tried doing a state search thru NY, but I think that only lists misdemeanors and felonies. I even paid for a company to do a search, but unfortunately, it only went back as far as seven years.
Anyone have any idea how I can find this info and get copies of my court reports. I am no longer living in NY.
    Thanks,
    Gina

    Court File
If you contact the court where the conviction occurred, you should be able to obtain a copy of your court file.
