Moving Out at 18
My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Georgia
My daughter wants to move out when she turns 18, she is 16 now, she will not graduate high school till she is 19. She wants to move out and move to South Carolina to live with a friend to finish high school there. Can she? And can she register in high school there without parental consent?
Thank you.

Re: Moving Out at 18
from what I can see, she is considered an adult, at 18, in both Georgia and South Carolina. Due to that, she can do as she pleases once she turns 18. She would be able to register in school herself as an adult at 18 as well.
In other words: she no longer needs parental permission for any legal actions.
