Interfering with a Peace Officer in Oregon
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Oregon
I was charged with Attempt to Elude on foot and Interfering with a Peace Office, the attempt to elude was a no complaint at the arraignment and the interfere with peace officer charge stuck, everyone with the same charges in court that day were dismissed or given the option to do community court. they set mine for trial, my question is why me? is it past criminal record? haven't been in trouble since 2001 and only conviction on record is possession of firearm witch was in 2001. what is the likely outcome? i cant beat it in trail so ill have to probably plea, but what kind of deal is likely to be thrown my way? if some one could tell me the maximum sentence to for this charge... thanks

We wouldn't have any way of knowing, "Why you," but if your guess is that you have a criminal record and nobody else involved in the incident had a criminal record, that's not a bad guess.

Talk to a local lawyer about possible plea bargains. We don't know the facts, nor anything about the prosecutor or judge assigned to your case.
