Retaliation from Boss for Reporting Assault
My question involves labor and employment law for the state of Indiana:
I have been put off work until further notice and my pay was cut down to minimum wage because i pressed charges for assult with a lethal weapon and refused to back down when my boss threatened my job if i didnt drop the charges. I dont know what to do. I have been trying to contact a lawyer but they are so expensive. I have missed 58 hours of work now waiting for my boss to allow me to return to work. I want to sue my boss for retaliation but i dont know where i need to go to file a claim or what papers i need to get.

We don't know what happened or why your boss is involved. How about sharing a few details so we have a sense of what's going on?
Re: Retaliation from Boss for Reporting Assault
Yes, like
- who assaulted you?
- why did he/she assault you?
- where did he/she assault you?
- what was the lethal weapon?
- why does your boss care about any of this?
- how come your boss doesn't know that it's practically impossible for crime victims to get the police to drop assault charges?
