Penalty for Owner of ID Used in Underage Alcohol Purchase

My question involves criminal law for the state of: CA

My friend, 19, was caught at a bar using my ID. I was wondering if anyone would know if I will also be charged with any law infraction.

Did you provide it to him knowing it would be used in such a way? If so, then yes, you could be charged with a felony for the crime of conspiracy. Will you be charged? Probably not. But, you can probably expect to have to pay for a new ID.
