Car Loan Issues
My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of:Missouri
My husband and I bought a car about 2 months ago and traded in our current car. We then got a call a month later saying that when they did an employment verification it came back saying my husbend did not work there. This was a mistake made by my husbands employer. After that they said they got us financed through another company and we needed to come in and sign a new contract and we did so. the payment was a little lower. Then I get a letter in the mail about a month later that says they did not accept the loan terms. So now I'm unsure what is going on. I went to pick up the title which the sales man said needed to be re noterised, and he was not in. And the other managers were clueless as to what is going on. I am getting very nervous now. I'm not sure what to do at this point. They have had my old vehicle for 2 months and if they try to give it back how do I know it will be in the same condition? I ve also put about 3000 miles on the new vehicle. Please give me some advise on what to do ASAP. tHANKS!

Re: Car Loan Issues
why didn't you just ask that the finance company verify his employment a second time?

Re: Car Loan Issues
I asked the same question. The manager at the location was dealing with him directly and he told me that once the verification was compleate they will not re nagotiate or call back. I'm not sure if he was just saying that or if that is what they told him. He also mentioned he did not like working with this perticular company because they are hard to deal with. So I'm not sure if he was just not wanting to deal with them and try again or what.
