Ticket for No / Improper Restraint of Children

:wallbang:My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Champlain, NY

While crossing the border to US I got stop for not having the twins in car seats. In the process the state trooper was being a jerk so he gave me tickets for every kid in my car

And while I know its his word against mines What should i do about the 5 tickets
should I plea guilty or not gulity?
Should i get a laywer?
I have never been stop before and I am very scared
I need my license to get around I am a single mom and we do not have good public transportation in my area.

Have you purchased car seats for the children that need them?

The officer can only give you tickets for the children the law allows. If these children needed to be in seats and were not, you have an uphill fight.

we have car seats for them but didnt have space for everyone at the time
