Can I Get Emancipated if My Mom and Dad Don't Wan't Me

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: I Am 15 Years Old And I Just Had A Baby 3 Months Ago, My Boyfriend Will Be 18 In A Week Or So And My Dad Is Not Financially Stable To Take Care Of Me And My Mom Does Not Want Me To Live With Her Because Her Boyfriend Does Not Like Me. My Mom Told Me That When My Boyfriend Turns 18, If The Court Lets Me, She Will Sign Over Custody Papers To My Boyfriend. Can My Mom Legally Do That? I Don't Wanna Be Put In A Foster Home And My Boyfriend Is Financially Stable Enough To Take Care Of Me And Our Son. Is It Possible To Be Divorced From Your Parents And Emancipated At The Age Of 15? And If Not, Is It Possible To Get Married In Ohio At 15 Years Old?

There is no way you will be emancipated.

Period.

You're a 15 year old with a baby - you need MORE, not less, adult supervision. Also, emancipation in Ohio is very restricted.

And your boyfriend will NOT be getting custody of you, either.

You're in Ohio, right? If you want to emancipate in Ohio you may do so through active duty military service (well, you can't because the military won't take you) or through lawful marriage. If either ends before you turn 18 you revert to your parents' custody. That's it.

Courts do not issue orders awarding custody of children to their adult boyfriends.

Frankly social services needs to become involved here.

If your parents approve of your living with your big sister, you can live with your big sister. If they later say "Now we want you to move back home," you get to move back home.

It's NO. It's not our fault that you don't like it. And yes, Social Services absolutely needs to become involved here, because the age of consent in our Great State is 16, and you managed to get knocked up at 14. He will be your guardian, able to tell you what to do and what not. If you wanted to go somewhere, he is legally able to tell you that you cannot go. He becomes able to tell you what you can or cannot do. It's just like he's your parents.

Don't worry...boyfriends don't get custody of children that they impregnate. Jail sentences perhaps.
