Emancipation for a Pregnant 16 Year Old
My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: west virginia
hello i am 16 and pregnant and i will be 17 when my little girl is born. is it possible for me to get emancipate? i would have a place to go to and some one to help support me which is the father of my child.
there is 7 people living here at my grandmas house and i am constantly stressed. my family is always bringing me down putting stress on me and i cant take it anymore, i have tried to talk to my mom but she never listens. my sister is adhd and odd and bi polar and she stresses me out and i am looking for a way that i wont be stressed and i think that living with the father of my child would be best because i wouldnt be stressed out and i know stress isnt good while your pregnant.
plus the house i live in constantly has ants every where if you set a couple of juice on the table and let it sit there for like 30 minutes it would be full of ants. and also you have to wash your clothes in the tub which kills my back. also flies here are really bad.
i am constantly depressed here and like i said stressed and its got to the piont i feel sick every day and i have to force myself to eat.
when i am with the father of my child i have no problem i feel stress free and happy and i can eat with no problem
but here its like i can be in the best mood and my mom just ruins it
its like since she cant be happy i cant i feel like she is taking what happened between her and my dad out on me and the father of my child
please help any information would help me please and thank you for helping

You're not going to like the answer.
There is no chance on God's green earth that a pregnant teenager will be emancipated to go live with the guy who knocked her up. Simply ain't gonna happen. Period. Get it right out of your mind.
If you are neglected or abused, you can always call CPS. If they see the need to take you out of the home they will do so, and put you in foster care, a group home, or maybe even another relative. But you will NOT be emancipated and you will NOT be allowed to live with your boyfriend.
