Safety and Health Related Issues in Trailer Park
My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Illinois

Hello, I currently live in a mobile home. The tenants next to us abandoned their home. The abandoned home has been sitting in this condition for several months. The plumbing was taken out of that unit. However, now there is constant leaking water under the unit. The skirting has huge openings all around the unit. Consequently, we had problems with animals. So, the management put moth balls under the home. Now we are seeing a lot of bugs.

I contacted the State of Illinois but they do not license this park. So, I contacted the Town department where we live. The inspector said there is not much to be done because this area is not considered residential. Although we live directly in the city. Is there anything we can do?

If this isn't even residential land, is it a legal rental?

This is your mobile home, with your simply renting the lot, or are you renting both the home and lot?
