What Are the Consequences of Withdrawing an Application to Enter the U.S.
On 25th June 2011 I travelled to Us from India but in Philadelphia Airport I was not allowed to enter US because I had B1 Visa and on my invitation letter it was written i am in US for business meetings and system testing work. Officer told me system testing is the word because of which i am not allowd to enter. I was given option to voluntary withdraw my application which i di. Now i want to know how difficult it will be for me to get any category of US visa as i was ignorant this time and didnt knew about system testing and its implications on B1 visa.
Secondly how can i clear or waveoff what has happened to me, where can or how can i appeal on this as i have being just a victim of ignorance.

If you withdraw your application without prejudice, then there's no prejudice to future attempts to enter. Granted, the withdrawal will appear on your record and thus may trigger a more in-depth review or additional questioning.
