    Release of Parental Rights
I have a pregnant friend who is due in 2 weeks. during the whole pregnancy she has not showed any real interest in having another baby. she has 2 already who were taken from her and their father has full custody of them. My partner and i are unable to have children of our own so we have been very helpful and supportive through this pregnancy and have offered free unlimited baby sitting once the baby is born. We feel as though once he is born she might just give him to us so im wondering if there is any legal documents that she can fill out giving up her parental rights to us. babys father is unknown. we just want to prepare ourselves just incase. any advice would help, thank you.

The process you are thinking of is called adoption. You didn't follow the instruction to identify your state, so I can't point you toward adoption laws for your undisclosed state.
