Returning to the U.S. After J1 Before 2 Years Expired
I was a J1 visa holder for 10 months in the US and I came back to complete my 2 year residency so I can get a green card after I come back (in case I get married to my boyfriend who is a citizen in the US). I am turning 18 next summer. Is there a way I could go back to the US after one year and still get a green card? What do I need to do to be eligible to live there after only 1 year out of two? Am I able to finish my senior year there (I just finished my sophmore year)? Thank you!

You'd have to apply for a waiver. Start by reading this (including the PDF FAQ link on that page):

I was readng it before I came back home. But due to family problems at home I want to go back earlier. So I could apply for waiver even if I'm not in the US at the moment? And the only way I could go IS to get married... right?

Your two year home country residency requirement is not affected by marriage to a citizen. You have already received instruction on how to seek a waiver.
