My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Oregon
I'm 15 (16 in September), female, live only with my mom. my mom is mentally abusing me. she only physically abuses me a little.
my counsaler believes my mom my have multiple personalty disorder.
There isn't a chance in Hades that you'll be emancipated.
And if you did, you wouldn't receive child support at all - it's not your money, period.
Your counselor, incidentally, is so far wrong that I'd actually be close to reporting him/her - s/he has NO right to "diagnose" your mother or even DISCUSS your mother's mental health with you like that.
Your counselor is also a mandated reporter; if s/he believes you are being abused s/he has a legal duty to report this to CPS.
