Caught Retail Theft at Sears Age 16 in Illinois

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Illinois

Yesterday my friend an i were caught stealing from a Sears shopping center in Winnebago county, IL but we live in Boone county, IL. We are both 16 years old. we walked out of the store and were apprehended sears LP , they took us in the back room took down information we took two wallets worth $28.00 each the police came and we were arrested ass far as i know. we were taken too a Juvenal Assessment center and had are finger prints and photograph taken then we're released to our parents and said they would send us our CD and they said they weren't sure if there would be a court date. I am taking full responsibility i said i did take the item and i have no other arrest or convection record.

What can i expect as far as fines, court dates ,and criminal records?Also should i send Apology letter? ................Please Help and Thank you
