What Must I Do to Be Emancipated

    Emancipation In Indiana
    My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Indiana. I am 15 and am put down by everybody in my house my dad sells pills and my mom doesn't want me i have somewhere to go i have a son that is four months old and i am getting a job what to i have to do to get out on my own where i can actually be supported?

    You have no job and have a child at 15.

    It wouldn't be rape. In Indiana, sex with a minor under the age of consent is child molestation and the child must be under 14 for that to be applicable. Since the child is 4 months old and the OP is 15, it is unlikely she was under 14 at the time of the sex. Now, if there was any sex while she was under 14 it would be child molestation but we don't have that info.

    However, the fact remains that no matter what state they are in, a 15 year old with a child has a better chance of winning the lottery and being struck by lightning on the same day than they do of being emancipated. IN will not emancipate a 15 year old at all; only two states will even consider it, and I don't see that the poster qualifies to be emancipated in either of them, either.
