It depends upon the charge you're facing and whether it's in juvenile or adult court. If you're charged with possession with intent to deliver, particularly if this was on school property, things are potentially much more serious than if this ends up being charged as simple possession; similarly the ramifications of being charged as a juvenile are generally significantly greater than the ramifications of being charged as a juvenile.
