My kid skipped a grade and almost skipped a second one, but for the fact that I wouldn't allow the second skipping. He was bottle fed.

Maybe he gets his smarts from his mother (who was also bottle fed):D

If yours wasn't already promised to someone else, I'd have him signed up right for my niece ;) :D

Prior to your moving, how often did you see kiddo?

(There is a reason why I'm asking).

The move was only a couple of weeks ago and prior to that I lived with my girlfriend and son since prior to his birth. When I say I was very involved that means I was with my son daily. Much of the work I've done since my son was born, was working for my parents doing construction work, and my girlfriend and son would come with me when I worked there, so even in working I saw and interacted with him throughout the day. My relationship with him has been described and one of the closest father son relationships my family has seen .... saw him breifly in court after two weeks and he looked so sad. The only thing I've really not been involved with is Dr visits and only because my girlfriend took care of taking him. I'm just feeling like the courts are giving preference to the mother and she's blocking me with this breastfeeding thing.

As a reply to the other poster, I'm aware of the WHO recommendation, but breastfeeding to age 3 is very uncommon in the US - most who breastfeed don't do so past age one ... and yes my son not only has teeth and talks, but rides a bike!
