    Florida Emancipation at 18
I'm 18 years old and I'm a student. I want to be emacipated from my floridian parent because I dont get along with them, but my other parent lives in New York and If my residence changes from Florida I'll lose grants and scholarships.
How would I go about this? I've looked at other cases and those have involved children under 18, do the same conditions apply ?

    Re: Florida Emancipation Question
You're 18, and thus an adult. You became legally emancipated when you reached the age of majority.

Does this have something to do with the FAFSA?
