    Neighbor is Blocking My Driveway
My question involves an easement in the state of: Washintgon
My house and My neighbors house sit behind two houses in front of us. There is a long driveway that splits the two front houses and gives us access to the main street. The two front houses each have their own driveway and garage. They often have friends over that park in the long driveway and block access to my house. I tell them they cannot park in my driveway and that it is an easment to my house. They claim its a public road and can park there if they choose. I normally dont mind a car parked there as long has I can access my house. But when 2 or 3 or more cars are there my right of way is taken away. What are the laws pertaining to this and do I have recourse?

well, first, is it a private easement or a public road? If it is an easement, do you have documents describing the easement and the rights afforded by the easement?

And if it is a public road, rendered inaccessible by parked cars, it would seem that the local police might be able to assist.
