Becoming Emancipated

I live in NYC, my girlfriend lives in Oregon. I'm 16 and she's 14. She is currently pregnant. I'm currently working. My girlfriend doesn't want to live with her parents, because her parents stress her a lot.

1. Can she come to NYC and emancipate herself and be able to live with me ?

2. Can she emancipate herself in Oregon and be able to come here and live with me?

3. Once she's emancipated can she legaly come live with me without her parents permission ?

4. How can she emancipate herself in NYC or in Oregon ?

5.Does she need her parents permission to emancipate herself ?

6. If there is no way for her to become emancipated, is there any other way she can legaly live with me instead of waiting to be 18 ?

the above link will show you the statutes concerning emancipation in Oregon. Be sure to note 419B.558 (1)(b) and (c).

She would not be able to file in NY as she is a resident of Oregon. If she were to go to NY, her parents could report her as a runaway and the law will take her back to Oregon.

In addition to the parents reporting her as a runaway.

The people housing her could get into trouble for harboring a runaway, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, transporting a minor across state lines......
