Can I Petition for Expunction on Class B Misdemeanor Theft in Texas
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Texas
Can I have a class b misdemeanor in Texas, Travis County, from 1987 expunction off my criminal records? My attorney entered deferred adjudication, plea of nolo contendere, waiving of trial by jury, and waiver of delay in sentencing. Court adjudged that the finding of guilty herein shall not be final, 180 days probation in theft class 80 hrs. CSR. I completed on August 1986. Have no other criminal offence.

As is explained in hundreds of threads, you can get an expungement following the deferral of a Class C misdemeanor or after you get a pardon. For any other successfully completed deferral you can petition for nondisclosure after the statutory waiting period.
