Caregiving As a Job on Resume
My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Michigan

Would it be wrong to do that? I mean, since I did act as Caregiver to my grandmother for so many years. Since it restricted my job options to certain hours; restricted jobs I could apply for; since it restricted my personal life even; and since I did receive Room and Board + $30/week.

Note: Once mom and I both said we were going to move out, she also was willing to put an ad on CraigsList to hire a Caregiver under the same terms.

Would it be wrong to put Caregiver - (her name) (duties) on my resume?

    Thanks :)

I don't see any reason not to list it, just as you might list a volunteer position, but I would be careful to describe the work such that if the employer asks for details they don't feel misled.
