no, i get survivors benefits from my dad, and I get more from that than I would with a part time job.

If you're emancipated, you would no longer get the survivor benefits. Plus, you need to ALREADY be living outside of your home and capable of managing your financial affairs.

You may have a hard time trying to convince a court to emancipate you to have a government agency take care of you (your housing)

they dont take care of you. they provide low income housing (apartments) to people.
