Roommate Says He Will Move Out, How Do I Make Sure He Does
My question involves a roommate in the State of: Nevada
My roommate situation has been simplified a little because the two roommates not on the lease are saying now that they will move out at the end of the month, but I'm concerned that they will not actually follow through with it. Is there anything I can do to make sure they keep their word? I know they've made an oral agreement but the only witness was my boyfriend and I want to make sure that I can get them out of there and a new roommate in, which will be problematic to say the least if they are refusing to get out of the rooms. Should I begin the eviction process now just incase? They refuse to sign anything so I can't just get them to write out or sign a written notice that they are going to move out.
Re: Roommate Says He Will Move Out, How Do I Make Sure He Does
Are you the only person on the lease, such that your "roommates" are your subtenants? If all of you are on a lease with a common landlord, you have no legal right to evict your roommates.
