Not illegal to make store returns

No, I'm not. I'm simply stating the obvious.

I wasn't aware we were discussing your situation as opposed to a hypothetical. If you are going to return lots of items to a store, I suggest you take more care with your receipts.

"I never said I had the receipts, nor that I could demonstate that I bought the items, only that I did actually buy them from the store and didn't lie to the police."

If you bought the items, there is a paper trail to show that....hence the 'demonstration'.

"And if that is the truth, the store can't prove otherwise."

They would be able to back up what you just said....'demonstration' yet again.

"You are assuming that if someone makes a lot of returns, that something is illegal."

If someone is doing a lot of returns, something is not right and a flag goes up. That's when we LP's get nosey and see what your up to....hence an 'Investigation' begins.

Fishing = Investigation.....it's where it starts and trust me we WILL prove it if it's there.

FYI to senior members/administrators: A charge/arrest/conviction is based on proof, proof, proof.
It is not based on: "duh, I think, she might have, we have a feeling she committed refund fraud" or "I think this person is lying to us, duh"
The proof is in the pudding. A case can never move forward based on reasonable doubt my friends.

My bad.....RETURNING!, we were able to put it all together by starting out with just one simple thing and then get to where we can PROVE the merch was not legitimately obtained......
